Road noise barriers
Concept Along roads, noise barriers run for kilometres and are rarely designed as more than a necessity. This concept uses 3D-printed concrete elements to turn them into a continuous relief. The geometry breaks up reflections between parallel walls, and the surface gives planting a structure to climb. Because each element is printed, the profile can vary along the stretch without new formwork. The barrier is built from modular elements and adapted to each road corridor.
