Possibilities and limits of 3DCP geometries
What are the limits and possibilities of 3D printing? This project investigates methods to analyse overhang in digital geometries before they are printed. It is possible to print up to 20 degree overhangs with concrete, but what happens if we put removable support structures underneath the printed geometry while its drying? Surface articulations and properties of sagging material were investigated while developing these digital tools.
